Do you mean « bobo » ?

Bobo, boho, hipster ? Those nicknames refer to the famous “bourgeois-bohème”, this upper class, who defines itself as an artist, a communication manager or yet as a philanthropist, keeps spreading its way of life around parisian districts. As Renaud said it, bobos “ live in the lofty districts in a trendy studio” but their favorite district is still the tenth arrondissement, between the boulevard Magenta and the canal Saint-Martin. Next to their pretended open-mindedness to ideas lies their geographical open-mindedness : the Haut-Marais in the fourth arrondissement where the bobo-chic gather together, around République station in the third arrondissement or again in the so-called pro-organic eleventh arrondissement. How can we explain this massive“ boboïsation” of Paris ? Behind the simple definition of the word “bobo” hide a complex life style : being a bobo means looking for the small unknown cafés only findable in the city, doing the shopping into multiple-choice local shops, having a walk into places that used to be unvisited. Actually, it just means trying to have an easy life. And yet, this search of simplicity became the keyword of all districts. So it took part into the monetization process of all the parisian space.
